Chris Rodd is a former University of San Francisco central defender who signed with Bryne FK right out of college in January 2008.

Former Sevilla player Frode Olsen, now sportsdirector in Bryne, went to San Francisco to scout Rodd and signed him on the spot.

Rodd has starlet every pre-season match for Bryne FK and has steadily gotten used to the physical Norwegian style.
